“Hurricane Proof Staple” Enhanced Roof Staple Invented
InventHelp has announced that one of its clients – an inventor from Atlantis, Fla. – has designed a prototype roof staple that is said to provide a stronger hold that standard fasteners.
The HURRICANE PROOF STAPLE would prevent plywood, wood sheathing or asphalt shingles from coming loose in high winds or hurricane conditions. Designed for use on roof trusses, rafters or floor joists, this enhanced staple could also provide users with peace of mind. The staple would be ideal for both trades professionals and do-it-yourselfers.
The inventor developed the staple based on a professional need. “While working as a building contractor in Florida, I was looking for a staple that could hold during hurricane-force winds,” he said.
The original design was submitted to the Fort Lauderdale office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
