New JohnsonDiversey Floor Finish Provides Low Odor Alternative

JohnsonDiversey Inc., a global provider of cleaning and hygiene products and solutions, has announced the introduction of FrescoMax™ - a durable, low-odor floor finish solution. Because of FrescoMax’s low odor properties, cleaning professionals now have greater flexibility in scheduling floor care programs, making it ideal for high traffic facilities and 24/7 operations such as healthcare, education, government, office and retail.

“FrescoMax’s low odor properties and quick dry time empowers cleaners, enabling them to finish floors while building occupants are on premise,” said Christopher Cypcar, Ph.D., product manager for JohnsonDiversey. “With other products, floor finishing can only be completed at night when fewer people are around. FrescoMax increases cleaners’ productivity, allowing them to schedule floor finishing at a convenient time.”

FrescoMax uses an innovative formula that requires less ammonia than traditional products, reducing the smell associated with floor finishing. FrescoMax offers 25 per cent solids formula producing high gloss build and provides excellent mark and scratch resistance. It comes ready to use and should be compatible with most existing finishes if they are deep scrubbed before application. It also meets ASTM D 2047 requirements for slip resistance.

FrescoMax is applied using the same method as a standard floor finish. An excellent gloss level can be achieved by applying two to four coats with a dry time of approximately 30 to 45 minutes. FrescoMax also responds well to spray buffing or UHS burnishing, separating it from other floor finishes on the market.
