New Glutton® Recycling Station From Rubbermaid Commerical Products

Rubbermaid Commercial Products has announced its “Smarter Recycling” solution: The Glutton Recycling Station. The Glutton Recycling Station combines the trusted Glutton and Slim Jim strength and durability into a high capacity station that can separate up to four waste streams for more efficient recycling.

The Glutton Recycling Station offers the convenience of one centralized location with an all-in-one solution that encourages compliance. Any combination of four snap-in tops with various item-specific openings can be used to sort different types of recyclable waste. A symbol and word label pack is also provided with each station. Multi-lingual word labels, along with highly visible iconic labels, provide universal cues for end-users and help minimize waste stream contamination.

“Supporting our customers’ recycling efforts while working to help reduce their waste disposal and labour costs is our priority for the Glutton Recycling Station,” said Numair Khan, product manager. “For a recycling collection to be successful, the receptacles have to be as easy to maintain as they are to use. The Glutton Recycling Station includes four removable 23-gallon Slim Jim containers and two Glutton 56-gallon contains, for a total capacity of 92 gallons. The lid frame fits over the Glutton and Slim Jim containers to create a unified, cohesive station. A centre hinge allows the lid to be opened from either side and eliminates the need to remove it during emptying, helping to reduce worker strain and trip-and-fall hazards.
