METALTECH-OMEGA INTRODUCES NEW CONTRACTOR SERIES METALTECH TELESCOPIC LADDER

A few months after introducing the Metaltech Telescopic Ladder to Canada, Laval-based Metaltech-Omega Inc., introduces its Contractor Series Metaltech Telescopic Ladder to the Canadian construction industry. CSA approved, the Grade One version, specially designed for construction and renovation industry professionals, is currently shipping to 1000 hardware stores and home renovation centres across Canada.

The Contractor Series Metaltech Telescopic Ladder provides a 16-foot (4.9 m) reach when fully extended. When retracted, it measures just 30 inches (45 cm) in height thanks to its tubular design which allows its components to slide into one another. At only 28 lbs. (12.7 kg), transporting the ladder is effortless. Offering a support capacity of 330 lbs. (150 kg), it is manufactured with TYPE 6061-T6 aluminum, identical to that used in the aerospace industry and recognized for its resistance and durability.

According to Bruno Tassé, B.Eng, M.B.A., president of Metaltech-Omega Inc., the Contractor Series Metaltech Telescopic Ladder is headed for the same resounding success as the consumer version of the product. It remains compact and very safe, and it can be used in locations that cannot be reached with conventional ladders.
