Tennant Company Names Global Operations
Vice President And International Vice President
Tennant Company has announced that it has
named Don Westman to lead its global operations as vice president, global
operations, and Karel Huijser to lead its International business as vice
president, international.
As vice president, global operations,
Westman will have responsibility for Tennant Company’s global manufacturing,
sourcing and logistics. Westman has spent 24 years with Pentair Inc., most
recently as Vice President of Operations – Pump Division, where he oversaw
manufacturing and distribution operations in the U.S.,
China, Mexico and Canada. Westman held several
VP-level executive positions with Pentair in various business units such as
Pentair Water, Hoffman Enclosures, and Schroff GmbH. Westman began his career
as an industrial engineer with Deere & Company. He holds a degree in
Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Menomonie. Westman will
make his office in Golden Valley,
Minn., the company’s global
headquarters.
In his new role, Huijser will have
responsibility for the company’s business outside of North
America. Huijser, a former GE executive, held positions of
increasing responsibility during his 14 years with the company, most recently
as president and CEO of Asia Pacific for GE Infrastructure based in Shanghai, China.
He previously worked as general manager of Asia Pacific for GE Water and
Process Technologies and with DAF Trucks in The Netherlands. Huijser will make his
office in Antwerp, Belgium, Tennant’s European
headquarters.
