Rubbermaid Introduces New Generation of
Cleaning Carts
Rubbermaid Commercial Products has
introduced an innovative line of Cleaning Carts. The carts and accessories are
designed to improve worker productivity, provide high-capacity storage options,
and support the latest in microfibre cleaning technology.
“Improving worker efficiency and cutting
labour costs were our main goals when we set about designing these new carts,”
said Tim Spence, senior marketing manager at Rubbermaid Commercial Products.
“We watched how people use their work carts, looking for gaps we could address.
The result is that our Cleaning Carts help workers get their jobs done faster
and easier.”
Improved storage features include the
following:
- Increased storage capacity by 40 per cent.
- Modular design allows users to configure the carts to meet the
needs of many different cleaning environments.
- Removable storage pails, caddies and bins are designed to allow
easy organization of cleaning items, as well as faster restocking of carts
from storage closets.
- Storage area can be enhanced with a full-height Locking Cabinet
Kit. By adding the Locking Security Hood on top, even more supplies and
personal items can be kept out of sight and secure.
- Onboard storage cabinets are accessible from both sides.
Additional features include:
- Improved Comfort Grip handle which makes the carts easily
manoeuvrable, even when loaded to their full capacity of 113 kg (250
lbs.).
- New Tool Grip rubber mop and broom holders make it easier and
safer to carry and access tools with long handles.
- New Lock ‘N Go bucket attachment works with Rubbermaid’s
WaveBrake conventional mopping system and the new Microfibre Pedal Wring
and Disinfecting Buckets.
- The universal vacuum holder and 20 per cent larger vinyl waste
bag help reduce the number of trips to supply closets, which improves
productivity and reduces labour costs.
All of the new Rubbermaid Commercial
Cleaning Carts are constructed from durable, easy-to-clean structural web
plastic and non-rusting aluminum.
