ECI(2) APPOINTS NEW CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER

“eCommerce” Industries Inc. (ECI2), a leader in industry-specific information technology solutions, has announced the promotion of Ronald Books to the position of Chief Operations Officer. Prior to this appointment, his most recent title was senior vice president, operations.

Books joined ECI2 while working with its then subsidiary Online Office Supplies Company (OOSC) in 1999. He was quickly promoted to president in 2000 before successfully selling off that business unit in 2001. Books continued on as vice president of sales for ECI2 before being promoted to senior vice president of operations in 2003. Prior to working with ECI2, Books worked with Lucent Technologies as a new business development account executive.
