TENNANT COMPANY NATIONAL SALES VIDEO WINS
PRESTIGIOUS TELLY AWARD
Tennant Company, a leading manufacturer of
surface maintenance equipment, has announced that a video created for the close
of its 2006 national sales meeting earned Platinum Best of Show honours in the
meeting/convention category at the Telly Awards, an international film and
video competition that draws more than 4000 entries.
The five-minute video was shot almost
entirely on-site during the sales meeting and incorporated sophisticated, three-dimensional
animation and illustrations. It was created by Studio:23 LLC in St. Paul,
Minn.; Curtis S. Laine produced, shot and edited the video under the direction
of Chris Deets, communications manager for Tennant.
“Tennant is widely known for its superior
cleaning technologies for the industrial and commercial markets, but we also
operate a highly competitive marketing program,” said Melissa J. Engelhart,
director of business marketing for Tennant. “It is a true honour to have one of
our signature internal marketing vehicles honoured with a Telly Award.”
According to Engelhart, this is not the
first marketing industry honour Tennant has received. The opening video for the
company’s 2005 national sales meeting won a Gold Aurora Award, its 2004 video
won a Communicator’s Crystal Jade Award of Excellence, and its 2003
“Replacement Revolution” direct marketing campaign won a bronze ARC Award.
