session panellists from all sectors of the industry will share their experience
and knowledge, and tell you what to expect when introducing a Green Cleaning
program. They will address issues such as the basic facts of Green Cleaning,
purchasing products that meet your needs, the certification of cleaning and
biotechnology products, performance and costs, and exploring the myths and
realities of Green Cleaning.

PANELISTS
Mario Charbonneau
of Stericoncept, is a well known consultant in the health care industry. He has
been an advocate of green cleaning for many years and was instrumental in
developing green cleaning programs in many health care facilities in Quebec –
including MHHC. Charbonneau will address the challenges of implementing a green
cleaning program.
Jocelyne Chevrier
of Hydro Québec is president of BOMA Québec’s Environmental Committee and their
“Visez Vert” certification program for the property management sector. She will
detail the criteria of the “Visez Vert” program and the role of maintenance in
the certification of buildings.
Chantal Line
Carpentier is manager of the “Environment, Economy and Commerce of the
Commission of Environmental Cooperation Between Canada, the United States and
Mexico.” Carpentier will explain the Environmental Purchasing Project in North
America, and the impact of purchasing ecological products on the private and
public sectors.
Paul Godin of
Avmor Ltd., manufacturers of EcoPure and Biomor products, will discuss the
varying uses of biological products versus conventional cleaning products.
André Foisy of
Enviro Solutions and Larose et Fils Ltée. will discuss the evolution of Green
Cleaning in Québec over the past 10 years, the acceptance of these products in
the marketplace, and the myths and realities of performance and costs.
