EXCEPTIONAL® Metals Offer New Product – Touch Up Paint Pen

EXCEPTIONAL Metals, a division of Duro-Last® Roofing Inc., announced the availability of a new Touch Up Paint Pen, which allows users to touch up areas on any EXCEPTIONAL Metal product with the same coloured finish.

“These pens are great for selling and restoring colour to scratches and chipped areas on our metal products that may occur during an installation,” said Steve Kowalewski, Technical manager for EXCEPTIONAL Metals. “They help prevent corrosion and degradation of the metal substrate as well.”

The new product comes in all EXCEPTIONAL Metals metal colours. Each pen contains 0.8 fluid ounces of touch up paint, has an 18-month shelf life, and will last as long as the metal product’s original baked-on finish.

“The pens are engineered for outdoor applications, and exhibit superior colour and gloss retention, chalk/corrosion/stain resistance and flexibility,” Kowalewski said.
