NEW KENT RAZOR®
SV17 WALK-BEHIND SCRUBBER COMBINES COMPACT
SIZE AND CLEANING PRODUCTIVITY
The new Kent
Razor® walk-behind automatic scrubber, with 17-inch scrub deck, easily cleans
aisles and other congested areas. In addition to cleaning more efficiently than
the traditional mop and bucket method, the company claims the Razor SV17
scrubber cleans in areas that bigger and bulkier scrubbers are unable to reach.
The machine is ideal for restaurants and retail locations such as convenience
stores.
The Kent Razor
SV17 scrubber is extremely manoeuvrable and can clean areas previously only
reachable with a mop. In addition, the machine is productive enough to clean up
to 22,400 sq. feet an hour, meaning reduced labour costs.
The machine comes
standard with two, 12-volt rechargeable gel batteries which are said to be
maintenance-free. Unlike wet-acid batteries, there is no possibility of battery
damage due to neglected servicing. The unit also has an onboard battery
charger, allowing for convenient charging without a charging station. This
feature reduces stolen and broken chargers.
The Razor SV17
scrubber features large seven-gallon solution and recovery tanks that are easy
to access for cleaning. At only 67 db, the SV17 is quiet enough for operation
during business hours. Kent’s EcoSystem™ pre-sets eliminate excess use of water
and detergent by controlling the solution setting instead of relying on the
operator. Minimizing water usage also minimizes slip-and-fall hazards and
improves safety because there is less moisture on the floor.
The manoeuvrable
walk-behind scrubber is also available as an electric powered model – the Razor
E17 – with a convenient detachable cord for easy portability. The cord can be
detached when moving the machine between jobs and tank fills to eliminate cord
wrapping hassles.
